WhatsApp will stop working on these Android iOS Windows Phones

      Whatsapp is the most popular and most liked social app. This is a fact.  There are 300 Million active users on a daily active basis around the world.

      You know what makes it so popular and trustworthy is its feature and security. WhatsApp has a simple User interface so that's is the biggest reason why Whatsapp became instantly popular. Till now Whatsapp on all the older versions of the phone is working very fine.

      The bad news is that WhatsApp will be going to soon stop working on millions of phones around the world after the messaging  Giant App announced that it will stop supporting older versions of Phones. 


      Whatsapp, the Facebook-owned messaging app, revealed a couple of days ago on its support page.  On its support page, it said which phones no longer to keep support. The reason behind doing so is to ensure the security of its users as they claiming.

      iPhone, Android, Windows various versions phones are going to be affected since 01 February 2020. 


iPhones not supporting Whatsapp:

      Whatsapp will not be working on any iPhones running on iOs 8 or earlier, Don't worry iOS launched by Apple 5 years ago i.e, 2014. So if you've got an iPhone 6 or newer versions of iPhone then don't worry your device will keep supporting Whatsapp.

      " For the best experience, we recommend you use the latest version of iOS available for your phone," WhatsApp suggests this in one of its blog posts.  So does I.


Android Phone not supporting Whatsapp:

      In the case of android if you are using an older version of android than Gingerbread, android version 2.3.3 then Whatsapp is going to no support your device. and Whatsapp also revealed that if you trying to create a new or existing account below the Gingerbread version then your Whatsapp account will be blocked.

      Android Gingerbread launched in way back, 2010. Nearly a decade ago, so don't worry your phone keeps supporting Whatsapp( I know that your android phone is much newer than 2010).



Windows Phone not supporting Whatsapp:

      Windows Phone which is running on the Operating System Windows Phone 8.1 or higher version than this will keep going to support your windows phone 


      So check your iPhone, Android, Windows phones version and better to roll an update for keep supporting Whatsapp, however much older version phone having difficulty to update a newer version.

      It's not the first time that Whatsapp are going to end support for the older version. They say its a tough decision to lose some valuable users but we ending support to provide security to its users.
